Upon successful completion of a course you will be presented with a Diploma. This Diploma can be used to obtain a job or an internship. Because of the work that you’ve put into your classes, you will be able to complete the necessary tasks required for successful employment. I’m looking to switch Careers, is Bell Business School right for me?Definitely. Our students come from all walks of life. Recent High School Graduates, people switching fields, foreign students, and people looking for Professional development in their fields are all encouraged to study here. There is no age limit (although you must be at least 17 years old to enroll) and people are encouraged to take a step in the direction of Education no matter what stage of life they are in. What are the benefits of attending a Professional Course as opposed to enrolling in a College or University’s Degree Programs? Continued Education Institutions have the following advantages over degree granting programs: Time –Opportunity for people to obtain skills and knowledge they need to gain employment in a shorter time period than degree granting programs in Colleges or Universities. Cost – In general, these institutions have lower costs associated with their programs Value – Continued Education institutions provide more intensive programs and generally cover more material in their courses by teaching only specific topics related to the area of study and preparing the student for employment in that field. Do Colleges or Universities accept your credits towards their Diplomas?Some colleges and Universities might apply what you have studied in Bell Business School and count that towards your completion requirements. We are working on our relationships with popular New York Colleges and Universities to ensure that if you decide to continue your education, some credits will be counted towards your degrees. Are there any Prerequisites to your programs?No. The only requirement is a High School Diploma (Local or Abroad) or a G.E.D. Our curriculum is designed to give you the necessary background information and prepare you for the more difficult classes in the beginning of the program. How are students tested?Students are tested frequently to ensure that everyone is up to date and on the right track to successfully complete their programs. Each module is ended with a quiz, test, or project to ensure that no one is behind and everyone understands the topics covered. If by chance a student falls behind, the teacher will work with you to get you up to speed in no time. Does your Graphic Design Program include Portfolio Design?Absolutely. Most employers require applicants to show what they’ve accomplished in terms of creative design, regardless of of what level of education they have completed. It is not only encouraged, but also mandatory for students to have a complete Portfolio of their work before they complete our Graphic Design Program. It is essential for students to put in most of their work into this phase of the program, since this is one of the strongest indicators of what you have learned. I’m not very good in math, but want to take Accounting/Bookkeeping for personal development, will that stand in the way?Part of the Accounting and Bookkeeping Program is essential Business Mathematics designed to prepare you to perform the functions required in this field of study. You can be sure that, although it is comprehensive, it is presented in as easy to understand fashion as possible. Math doesn’t get any more difficult than what you’ve studied in High School and will not stand in the way of your success. Does your Medical Office Assistant with Billing and Coding Program require prior Medical Education?No. This program is designed to teach the theory and skills necessary for you to work in the Healthcare System on the administrative side, not the medical side. Upon completion of this program, you will be able to perform all tasks associated with working in or managing a private Medical Office, a Hospital, or a Medical Billing Firm. All medical records are required to be in electronic format, and while in this transitional period from paper to computer, this is a growing field. In addition, you will be taught how to properly code and bill for procedures performed in a medical office or hospital, making you a valuable asset to any such institution.
